Mary Ellen Prado

She was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio F. Prado. She leaved behind her daughters, Ruth Ann Prado, Irma Apaez, Mary Antoinette Pastrano; and her son, Carlos R. Prado. She also leaves behind one sister, Rosa Aurora Guajardo; numerous nieces and nephews; and several cousins and other relatives.

Mary Ellen married the love of her life "Tony" on March 25, 1950. They both worked at Kelly AFB. She was an executive secretary for thirty-five years. In 1949 she was crowned "Reyna de las Hijas de Maria", a religious group for young ladies at San Fernando Cathedral. Mary Ellen loved gardening and was very devoted to the catholic faith. She had a passion for writing and loved to go dancing.

Her family would like to express their gratitude for the loving care provided by Ms. Gardener, Estela, Virginia, Rita, Peggy and the staff at Hunters Pond. She will be missed but not forgotten.
