Mary Pat Spoonemore

Mary Patricia Kelly Spoonemore, age 91, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2023, in San Antonio. She was born on June 2, 1931, in Madawaska, Maine, to parents, Elizabeth Timmons and Myles Kelly. She was educated at St. Mary’s University in Massachusetts and graduated in 1949 with a degree in Education. She married MSgt. Harold Eugene Spoonemore in 1957 and they spent 65 years together. Mary was passionate for 30 years about teaching. She enjoyed the Spurs, bowling, sewing and quilting, and playing mobile games.

Mary is survived by her four children, James Darrell Spoonemore (Terri Lewellen Spoonemore), Kelly Marie Spoonemore, Timothy Kevin Spoonemore (Rita Claire Spoonemore), and Tammy Marie Spoonemore Smart; three grandchildren, Patrick Michael Smart, John Wilson Smart II, and Kevin Ryan Smart; as well as her nine great-grandchildren, Alissa Allen Smart, Elizabeth Ryan Smart, Madison Skye Anderson, Avery Grace Smart, Makenzie Paige Smart, Silas Xavier Smart, John Charles Smart II, Xavier Alonso Nova, and Raylan Walker Smart.

Mary was loved and will be missed.
