Matthew Curtis Matt Mabry

Matt was a graduate of Smithson Valley High School, the University of Texas/Austin, MBA Georgetown University, and studied at Oxford University/England. While at UT/Austin he served as Vice President of the Business School student council.

He worked in the telecommunications industry for 11 years and resided in Dallas, Boston, Washington, D.C., New York City and Los Angeles where he was presently working for J-2 Global Communications.

He traveled extensively, including South America, Europe, Netherlands, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Egypt.

Matt will be remembered for his keen business sense, his warm smile, his unconventional sense of humor and his very caring approach to relationships. Matt was tenacious on any project, intelligent, an organizer, passionate about friends and family, and just an all around unique individual.

Matt is survived by his loving family and his special friend, Lisa Detanna. Matt was preceded in death by his grandfather, John N. Mabry and is survived by grandmother Peggy Mabry; grandparents, Dr. Warren Hultgren and Wanda Hultgren; parents, Bob and Landa Mabry; brother, Clint Mabry, his wife Sarah Mabry and son Larson Mabry and his extended family members, including many loved aunts, uncles and cousins.
