Michael Greer Mr. Austin

Michael is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lucy Robinson Austin, Father, Melvin W. Austin of Ingram, Texas; Brother Mark W. Austin and his wife Michele of Potomac Falls, Virginia; Nephews Mark W Austin Jr and Kevin L Austin, of Austin, Minnesota. He was preceded in death by his Mother, Mary Ann Austin.

Michael and Lucy were married in San Antonio, Texas on May 22, 1982. Always inseparable, they enjoyed searching for antiques together throughout central Texas, participating in art and craft shows, and decorating their Home for every holiday, especially Halloween and Christmas.

Michael had a special love for nature and animals, rescuing numerous kittens and cats, caring for a small feral cat colony, hiking, and feeding deer and small wildlife in local parks. Michael loved his work, always striving for perfection as an electrician, a highly skilled and talented craftsman, and most recently as a Paratransit driver for MV Transportation. Michael will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
