Michael "Mike" Wayne Jarrell Sr. passed away, at the age of 70, in Corpus Christi, Tx on Friday February 11, 2022 due to Covid Pneumonia. Mike is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Ruth Jarrell of Austin, Tx and infant Great Grandson, Samuel Shook of Bulverde, Tx. He is survived by his beloved wife, Lani of Corpus Christi; his son, Mike Jarrell Jr. and his wife Lori of Spring Branch, Tx; his daughter, Donna Moore and her husband Michael of Bulverde Tx; and his step-children, Bryson Serventi and Alyxzandria Serventi of Rochester, Wa; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; 3 sisters; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and countless friends.
Mike spent 4 yrs active duty in the USAF as a Fire Fighter, retired after 25 yrs as a Civil Service Fire Fighter at Lackland AFB in San Antonio, Tx, and also retired after 25 yrs as the Fire Chief of Bexar-Bulverde VFD in San Antonio,Tx.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.on Friday, March 25, 2022 at Porter Loring North Chapel. The funeral procession will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
