I volunteered with Michael at love fosters hope camps. What compassion he had for foster kids!
He was a kind dependable “rock” at camp that knew how to have fun with the campers. 

And he was a wonderful mentor. 

His smile, his compassion, his sense of fun and desire to serve will be missed by all of us.

Michael used to tell everyone that the hardest job I. Brazil was to be my dad because I eat too much and my dad in Brazil had to work so hard to feed me! Hahhaha

Thanks for everything you did and taught me! You were a great man and you will be forever in my heart!

In these difficult times it is hard to know what to say. Our loving God always knows what to say and he wants us to "throw all your anxiety upon Him because He cares for you." (1 Peter 5:7) Our condolences.

I grew up just one house away from Mike & his family in Natick, MA. 

Mike was the funny, athletic, gregarious, loving older brother of my lifelong friend, Caitlin. The kids from both of our families (and from another family across the street) spent countless hours playing in the backyards and in the woods behind our houses. We built forts, dug holes, and one time tried to make a fire as some camping game (fortunately this was ended as soon as his mom noticed the smoke & forest fire was averted). Mike was very competitive and we kids could sometimes have our tiffs (mostly involving basketball games of knockout), but he was always very protective and very caring of the younger kids in the group. I always appreciated that about him. 

As we all grew up & left the neighborhood for work or school, we saw each other less & less, but each time our families would see each other for a holiday or wedding that closeness was there.  

I remember when I met  his daughter Madi for the first time as a baby, and the love and joy that Mike felt for his daughter was so palpable. He was truly the most dedicated and loving father to Madi and he was ready to move mountains for her. 

I will always remember Mike for his sense of humor, his kindness, his love and loyalty to his family, and his fun loving attitude. 

My deepest condolences and love to Madi, Fabiana, Kathy, Lauren, Caitlin and all of his friends and family who loved him so much.

I was walking alongside Mike and Faby, when we got closer to a bush than Mike came super close to me than quickly pushed me into the bushes. 😂 
But don’t worry I got to train Jiu-Jitsu with him later on that day and he got choke, many times!
Miss you already Mike!

Sending my heartfelt condolences to Madi, Fabiana, Kathy, Lauren, Caitlin and all of Mike's friends and family. Wishing you all comfort and joy in remembering Michael.

We mourn with you dear family and Fabiana. Michael was such a devoted Dad to his Madi. Even from the start, he seemed  perfectly suited to fatherhood. Mike and Madi had a loving grace between them that was very powerful to see.
Fabiana, Kathy, Lauren, Caitlin, Patrick and Chris and dear children, may Michael's love and sense of fun and family carry you through this painful time. Michael was beloved by you and beloved by many on this earth.

Michael is a more than special person, an honest man with a heart full of love and God, always sharing the best, always inspiring everyone to be the best. Much loved friend and brother!

Mike, my friend, you have a gift of bringing light and cheer into every room and every situation. Your witty trash talk was hilarious! I particularly remember one time your trash talk back fired on you and you comically earned the nickname The Brave Little Toaster! Thank you for your gracious heart and good cheer! God be with you til we meet again brother.

You were always a Kool Kat and you left us with so many good memories.

Michael leaves a legacy of living life FULLY. The best part of how he lived was his consistent thoughtful smile and the kindness he always extended. He valued family highly and we always stayed in touch throughout all of what life brought him. That is a big gift he gave me. His light will be deeply missed. May he now be with his farther who like his mother and siblings truly CHERISHED him.

Thank you for all the laughs and barbecues and double dates with your lovely Fabi! Thank you also for your wise words and advice. A friend that will forever be in our memories and hearts! Rest in peace Mike ❤️

An outstanding athlete and training partner.  Mike took his time to give our family the gift of a thoughtful endorsement that solidified getting our son into the school my son now attends and loves. We will always be grateful.

He will be missed on the soccer field. Always a strong player. Here is when he won Player of the Tornament for the Blades FC at the annual Cinco De Mayo Soccer Tournament 2021.
