He leaves behind a legacy of love, intelligence, and practical skills that were as much a part of him as his warm smile.
Mike is survived by his devoted spouse, Lamar Ratto, and their two cherished children, Lexis and Zachary Ratto. He was the beloved son of Linda Specht and the late Michael Ratto and the caring brother of Christie Herriage and John Maupin. Mike was predeceased by his sister, Tamara Ratto, whose memory he held close to his heart.
After attending some college, Mike embarked on a fulfilling career as a Production Manager with Toyota Motor Manufacturing. His dedication and innovative spirit made a lasting impact on his colleagues and the industry. Mike's professional achievements were only matched by his commitment to his family and his passions.
An avid outdoorsman, Mike relished the time spent fishing, a hobby that provided him with both relaxation and excitement. Whether it was a quiet morning on the lake or a competitive afternoon at the bowling alley, Mike embraced every moment with enthusiasm. He was also known to enjoy a round of golf, a sport that combined his love for the outdoors with his strategic thinking.
Mike was the epitome of the phrase "loving, intelligent, and handy." He could fix almost anything, and his problem-solving abilities were a source of pride and amusement for his family. A memorial service will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary - West, located at 1710 West Loop 1604 North, San Antonio, TX 78251, on December 12, 2025, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
