

Following graduation from Roosevelt High School in 1977, Mike went on to pursue a bachelors degree in Business Administration at Baylor University and finished his studies at Southwest Texas State University.
After graduating with a degree in finance, he began his banking career that included over 40 years in the industry. Of those years, 37 were spent with Kelly Bank, Norwest Bank and Wells Fargo. Most recently, Mike held the position of Executive Vice President - Business Leader at Broadway Bank where he built and managed a team of elite commercial bankers.
Mike met and then married Marianne Malone in August of 1981 and went on to have three beautiful children, Ashley, Michael and Amie.
Mike was an accomplished golfer and a welcome addition to the Baylor University team. He was the head lifeguard and manager of the Windcrest pool and taught swim lessons to many. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who had a particular obsession for dove hunting. He loved driving his jeep through the mountains of Cuchara, Colorado with his family and enjoyed the many beach trips he spent with them at the coast. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and teaching them about the great outdoors. He enjoyed the Rodeo and loved being involved in the auction barns. Most importantly his passion was to support the youth and sponsor the 4-H program for college tuition. He has been a lifetime member of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo since 2000. He began dating his fiance, Sue Shumaker, in January of 2019 and enjoyed 3 wonderful years with her and her family. Mike was a member of Trinity Baptist Church for over 45 years and was a member of The Fellowship of San Antonio for the last 8 years.
Mike was preceded in death by his father, E. James Seal. He is survived by his mother Marilee O. Seal; his fiance, Sue Shumaker; his children, Ashley Seal Kinkaid and her husband John Robert Kinkaid; Michael James Seal, Jr., and his wife Kayley Kraft Seal; and Amie Seal Hardnet; grandchildren include Gage Michael Kinkaid, Easton James Seal, Seven Joseph Lynch and Jase Lynch; his brother, Mark Anton Seal and his wife, Julie Ann Seal; nephew, Wyatt Anton Seal. He is also survived by many friends and co-workers whom he dearly loved. He will be tremendously missed and forever remembered.
Service is Friday, February 4, 2022, at 3:00 p.m., at Fellowship of San Antonio, 23755 Canyon Golf Road, 78260. Pastor Ron Hill officiating. A celebration of life will immediately follow at 1850 Settlement, 29360 Bulverde Rd., 78260. Warm Western attire recommended.
