Miguel Mike De los Santos, Jr.

Miguel "Mike" De Los Santos, Jr. age 51, of San Antonio passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2016. Mike loved playing darts and watching sports. His love of sports led him to volunteer as Coach for the past 6 years for both his daughter's teams in Volleyball and Softball and on the court and in the field is where he had the most fun. Mike came to be known as "Coach Mike" by not only his teams, but by many other students, parents and teachers at both St. Monica Catholic School and St. Anthony Catholic High School. Although Mike was diagnosed with Cancer in 2011, he never let that stop him. Even throughout his ongoing cancer battle, he continued to coach and lead his business A & G Custom Fencing where he took great pride in his work. Mike was everyone's go-to guy because he could do any and everything and was always the first to lend a helping hand. He was a good friend to many, a loving and supportive Dad, a fierce protector, a great brother and wonderful son and we will miss him more than words can express.

He was preceded in death by his sisters, Blanca Estella De Los Santos and Teresita Garza and step-father, Rodolfo Garza. Mike is survived by his wife, Amy Castaño; son, Miguel De Los Santos III (Adriana) and Michael Anthony De Los Santos; daughters, Mya Renee and Madyson Jewel De Los Santos; mother, Rebeca Garza; father, Miguel De Los Santos, Sr.; brother, Pedro De Los Santos; sisters, Brigitte Garza (Valente Garcia), Priscilla Ann Garza (Alfonso Ibarra) and Elsa De Los Santos and grandchildren, Tayah and Michael, Jr.; Nieces and Nephews, Christopher, Erika, Crystal, Aliza, Mark, David, Alayna, Valentito and Miranda.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 18, 2016 from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring Chapel on McCullough Ave. Procession from Porter Loring Mortuary on Tuesday, April 19, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. to St. Monica's Catholic Church, 501 N. St. Converse, TX 78109 for a Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery II
