Mildred J. Hovenden

January 19, 1933- August 12, 2021

Beloved Mother, friend and loved one Mildred J. Hovenden completed her earthly journey as her life’s river passed under the last bridge and flowed into the sea of life every-after on Thursday August 12th. Mildred passed away peacefully surrounded by friends and loved by her family. She was 88 years blessed.

Mildred was a dedicated mother of six children, Jeanne, Ann (deceased), Lynn, Paul (deceased), Nancy and John. Her grandchildren included Virginia, Kristen, Austin, Morgan, Abbey and Hallie. Including her love of family her passions included sewing, quilting, gardening, animals and nature, the Catholic church and going to the beach. Her angel on this Earth was her best friend, Katie Reed. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor, eagerness to help those in need and dedicated love of prayer. She was a long-standing member of St. Pius X Catholic Church in San Antonio and Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Floresville.
