

Marguerite Stubbs Koehl, age 89, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011.
Marguerite graduated from Brackenridge High School and Tower Secretarial School in 1940.
She was employed as a secretary by Baretta Engineering, a reservation agent at Eastern Airlines, and the attendance secretary of Alamo Heights Junior School. She was a member of Alamo Heights United Methodist Church and served in the Loving Circle.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She is survived by her husband, Lionel "Lonny" R. Koehl; daughter and son-in-law, Sharon and Michael McCarley; son and daughter-in-law, Dr. Gary and Virginia Koehl; granddaughter, Andrea McCarley Custer and husband, Scott; grandsons, Joseph L. Koehl of Austin, Texas, and Daniel S. Koehl; great grandchildren, Caleb and Austin Michael Custer.
Marguerite's family appreciates the loving care given her during her Alzheimer's illness by Marisela Imperial, Blanca Santos, Rosie Martinez, Maria Bueno and Janessa Romero as well as Vista Care Hospice.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Porter Loring.
