It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Millicent Simonis. She was born in Marion, OH, to DeWitt and Martha Mills on February 4, 1939. She met and married John Charles Simonis (1940-2022) and had three children: Theresa (spouse Ronney Jung), Cheryl, and William (spouse Coretta Simonis). Millicent also had four grandchildren: Sean, Orian, Ysabella, and Raven.
Millicent was a teacher by trade and was also a substitute for teacher for the Northside ISD before retiring to become a stay-at-home mom. Her hobbies included: crafts, sailing, travelling, and crossword puzzles.
Memorial services will be held at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, Tx on August 31st. Visitation starts at 1pm. Ceremony will begin at 2pm.
