Minerva Bernal

Minerva Bernal, 80 years old of Renton, Washington (formerly of San Antonio, Texas) passed away peacefully on March 10th, 2015 at Valley Medical Center Hospital, Renton. She was born on June 7th, 1934 to a loving family, Frank and Janie Bernal. Minerva was a wonderful daughter and generous friend to many. She was the mother of Rachel, her only child and helped raise many children within in her extended family through the years. In the 80’s she moved to Los Angeles to live with her daughter and together with Stephen Blier her son in law, they finally settled in Renton. She is survived by her daughter Rachel, son in law Stephen, along with brothers Frank Jr., and Dave. Two nieces Brandee, Ashley, and two nephews Fernando, and Dave II. Minerva was an avid gardener always tending to her seeds with loving care and tenderness; her sweet gentle warmth will be missed by all. Rest peacefully little mother, your seeds will blossom into a beautiful memory for everyone to remember.

Funeral Services are a visitation on Friday March 20, 2015 from 11:00am to 1:00pm at Sunset North Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at San Fernando III Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
