Miriam Ruth Casebier, age 89, passed quietly from this life in the early morning hours, August 29, 2009, with family at her side. Her transition from this life was unexpectedly sudden but mercifully brief.
She was preceded in death by her high school sweetheart and husband of 48 years, Cecil Lang Casebier, prominent Texas painter and designer of stained glass windows.
Miriam is survived by her brother, Edward Winkler and wife, Selma; son, Cecil Lang Casebier, Jr.; granddaughters, Emma Catherine and Amber; grandson, Jesse, great-grandson, Aiden, many nieces and nephews, and friends, old and new.
