Misty Cantrell

Misty Ann Cantrell left us on March 28, 2025 in Austin Texas at the age of 45. Misty was born in San Antonio TX and attended MacArthur High School and San Antonio College, UTSA and Austin Community College. She received a Bachelor of Business degree and 3 Associate degrees. Misty graduated high school a year early. She worked at various restaurants as she put herself through college. After graduating from UTSA she went to work for the Hyatt Regency, then Grand Hyatt in San Antonio. She got an offer from The Omni Austin hotel and jumped at the opportunity. She wanted to live in Austin for a while. She moved to Austin and there she met her husband Doug Hoffman. Misty went back to college and got another Associates degree in computers as well as certifications so she could work in the computer field. She then went to work at St David's hospital in Georgetown working on their computers. She left that job to take care of her baby Adilyn. Misty was a women that respected hard wok and loved her family. She also loved to garden and going to craft fairs. She was a true bargain hunter and took pride in finding the best deal.

Misty left us way too soon. She leaves behind her husband Doug Hoffman and 4 year old daughter Adilyn; her Mom, Margo Carrell (husband John); brother, James Cantrell (kids Tristan & Zola); Mother in law, Barbara Harris (husband James); grand parents, Joel & Norma Honeycutt, Aunt Melinda Crowder (Earl Harmsen); Uncle, Mark Honeycutt (wife Rhonda son Joel); Sister in Law, Jessiana Anderson (husband ); cousins, and countless friends who will all miss her very much.

Misty's services will be held at Porter Loring Mortuary North, 2102 North Loop 1604 East, San

Antonio, Texas, on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 2:00 P.M.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice Austin Christopher House in Austin Texas. The nurses and doctors at this facility were Misty's angels. Thank you for your amazing hearts and caring.
