I would like to say eventhough, I knew Moses for only 2 and half months he was the nicest person I have met so far at work. He will be missed by many he seems like the type of person, people should pattern themselves after.

Mo's children: I went to school with both your mom and dad and even though we don't see each other very often, the pain of losing a friend is no less intense. I don't have to tell you what a wonderful, fun-loving person your father was. I am so very, very sorry for your loss and as cliche' as it sounds, being a Christian, I know he's in a better place. I'm sorry I didn't get to meet you at the rosary but there were so many others and I needed to leave. My ex-husband and friend, Caesar Garcia, who was a teammate and classmate of your dad's had kidney transplant surgery Friday. Our son, Caesar, Jr. was the donor, so I needed to get back to the hospital. Caesar has asked that I give you all his condolences also as he and Mo grew up together in the "old Neighborhood" and were friends for many, many years. He would have been there had he not been hospitalized. My love you your wonderful mom...she called me on the way in from Plano to tell me on the same day of the surgery. In a World filled with average, everyday people, Moses stood out above the others, because He was such a nice person. He was kind, thoughtful, and generous. He will definately be missed by me, and by everyone else who was lucky enough to have known him. my deepest sympathy to all.

We will all miss Moses Alva. The car business will miss Moses. He was certainly one of the good ones. I remember his great personality. I especially remember being at the Gunn used car supercenter with Mo every day. We would eat Julios corn chips and hot sauce in the late afternoon and talk about the Cowboys and high scool football. Moses was someone that was a big part of my life when I was young, although I had not talked to him much in recent years, I did think of him and his family often. I had wanted to visit him and Judy many times but was never able to. The news of his death came to me in a way that I guess God planned. I had bought the Sunday newspaper, I never buy it, and as I was on my way out the door when I told my fiance that I was going to take the obituaries with me, I was just about to step out the door when I stopped and saw the smile that I could never forget. I just about fell over. I could not believe my eyes. He is one that will be greatly missed because I know he has touched the lives of so many people and like myself, he made an impact in their lives and he will always be remembered. I was sorry to hear about Moses' death. I graduated from Edgewood with Moses and I remember as a happy person, a good student, outstanding athlete and a good and loyal friend. Although it has been years since I had seen Moses, I will always remember his since of humor and jokes. He was always fun to be around. I wish the family well.
