Muoi Kim Donald was born in China on October 20, 1930. In 1962, Muoi journeyed to the United States with her husband Grady Felton Donald, Jr., her two children Kelvin and Kiu Donald. Muoi is cherished by five grandchildren, Mandy, Tommy, Derek, Kenna, and Brandon, one great-grandchild, Ashleigh and daughter-in-law, Sue Fong. Muoi had a very tough life in China. She was working very hard to supprt her step-mother from a very young age. As an adult life, she worked two jobs to support herself and two children. Muoi was a very kind person who instantly made you feel loved and welcomed. When Muoi saw the homeless people on the corner of the streets, she handed out a few dollars to help them. Muoi was always feeding the birds or squirrels with bird seeds, or whatever she could find, bread, or leftover rice. When Muoi went grocery shopping with her daughter, she always bought a few cans of cat food to feed three cats from nowhere that hung around the front door of the house. Muoi’s granddaughter, Kenna has a Yorkie dog named “Wonton”. Every time a strange person would knock on the door, Wonton was constantly barking very loudly. Muoi told the dog “Be quiet. Do you want spanking?” Muoi did not mean to be angry with the dog, so afterward she went to the kitchen and opened a can of special treat dog food to feed him. Muoi would always feel sorry for the Wonton during dinner. She always asked, “Does Wonton have anything to eat? If not, we can get him Popeyes’s chicken.” If you had the pleasure of meeting Muoi, you immediately felt her love and compassion for everything and everyone around her. No matter who you were, how much or little time you spent with her, she made you feel like family. Muoi had the biggest heart and was an amazing wife, mother, and grandmother.
