Myrtle Mary Rhodes

Myrtle M. Rhodes, age 95, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 22, 2024. Myrtle lived a remarkable life filled with love, laughter, and an endless supply of stories that could captivate anyone within earshot. She was known for her sharp wit, contagious laughter, and her ability to make every person she met feel special. Whether she was sharing her wisdom, offering a kind word, or simply enjoying time with her family, Myrtle had a way of making life just a little bit brighter.

Her family was her greatest joy, and she took immense pride in being a constant source of support and love for them. Myrtle’s heart was as big as her personality, and she never hesitated to offer a hug, a laugh, or a piece of advice. She lived with a spirit that refused to be dimmed and showed us all how to embrace life fully, no matter the number of candles on the cake.

Myrtle is survived by her daughter, Debra (Derrick); grandson, David (Marta); granddaughter, Michelle (Roel); and 5 great grandchildren, Austin, Alexis, Isabella, Allison, and Avery.

Myrtle’s legacy of love, laughter, and resilience will continue to shine brightly in the hearts of all who knew her. Though she will be missed dearly, her memory will live on in every story shared and every smile sparked by the thought of her.
