Stuart, I last saw Nancy at her Mother's funeral. My prayers and consolation are with you and your family with her death. She was a wonderful Christian woman who encouraged by example. May you all know the peace of Christ at this time.

Nancy helped my parents to adopt me from Brazil. I named my son, Cameron, after Nancy and her husband. I will miss her deeply and give thanks to God for her life, all to brief. I love you, Tia Nancy.

Nancy helped my Brazilian-born daughter search for her history. In 1990, we adopted our daughter from a Brazilian orphanage. In the summer of 2004, I returned to Brazil with my 18-year-old daughter. With the help of Nancy and her Brazil Limiar staff, we were able to review all court records on my daughter's very tumultous early life. She was 5 1/2 when we adopted her, and had lived in at least 5 different homes/orphanages. We were also able to meet with the Brazilian family with whom she lived for a year a bit prior to our adopting her. There were many painful memories that were revisited. It was difficult, but helped bring some healing. My daughter was not adopted through Limiar, so Nancy had no long-standing relationship with us. 
she was willing to help simply because of her commitment to improve the lives of children.

We would not be the "Ducy family" without Nancy. Our eternal gratitude for her life and wonderful deeds.

Nancy brought us together 15 years with our two sons, Adriano and Leandro, now 22 and 20 years old and in college. Their lives and ours would have been vastly different without her. How blessed we were to have Nancy with her tireless energy and optimism be a part of our lives. 
Our thoughts and prayers and deepest sympathy are with Stuart and the children and grandchildren.

Nancy was the reason that we became part of a wider circle of love and family. We've all known your investment in the lives of young people. We've felt it personally as we grew up in Brasil and at PACA. We've seen it through your children. Through Laney we have seen what a special Mom you were. Laney lives to make those around her feel important and loved. She brings an enthusiasm and charm with her everywhere she goes. So much of that has come from her parents. You will be sorely missed.

I met Mrs. Cameron a few years ago through her daughter Lane. Mrs. Cameron was full of sunshine and energy. She impressed me as a woman of purpose, a woman of God, and a great mother. My deepest condolences to her family.
