

Nancy was born in San Antonio on July 24, 1925 to Elmer Little and Lillie Westerlund.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Andrew Greer Pickett. She is survived by her son, Jonathan Pickett.
Nancy was a graduate of Jefferson High School, where she was a Captain in the Lasso Drum and Bugle Corps.
She pursued a business career before her marriage to Andrew Pickett in 1950 and their subsequent move to Salzburg, Austria, where he was employed by the Army as an engineer.
She was a 1957 graduate of Trinity University. Nancy was a very sociable, amiable, and idealistic person who had been a member of organizations of many kinds: fraternal, academic, civic, cultural, and charitable.
She was a member of the San Antonio Council of Presidents. She pursued lifelong interests in music, the arts, and history. For many decades.
Nancy was a parishioner at St. Luke's Episcopal Church and served in the St. Francis Guild.
She was loyal and caring toward her friends. Her smile and patience comforted those around her, even as her illness became very severe.
The parish of St. Luke's and the staff of the Forum at Lincoln Heights should be noted for their careful attentions to Nancy throughout the years of her illness.
Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM Thursday, August 14th at Porter Loring Mortuary, 1101 McCullough Ave.
