

He was born on March 17, 1963 in Rockford, IL to Galliano and Joan Marinelli. He was a long time employee of the law firm Linebarger, Goggan, Blair, & Sampson, of San Antonio. Nick was the author and creator of the blog called "Conservative Dialysis," which took a hard look at current affairs and other topics of interest to him. He was an avid sports fan and never gave up on the Dallas Cowboys. He was also an excellent musician who played the bass guitar.
He is survived by his wife, Rene Hopkins Marinelli. He is also survived by two children from a previous marriage, Russell Galliano Marinelli and Katherine Diane Titus and their mother, Shannon Lee Spaeth Marinelli. Other survivors include his brother, Martin John Marinelli and his wife Eliene and his son Joseph; his sister, Sarah Elisabeth Ramirez and her husband Roman and children Avery and Alden; his brother, J.R. Marinelli and his wife Amy and son Max; and his in-laws, Doran and Francele Hopkins of Summerville, OR.
Nick was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Randy and Phillip.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Monday, February 11, 2013, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.
