Norma Louise Stephens, 92, of San Antonio, died Thursday, November 22, 2012. She was born in Center Point, TX on September 28, 1920 to the late Joseph D. and Mamie Boyer. She attended the Masonic Home and School for Children where she met Murray Stephens. From there, began 8 decades of love and 72 years of marriage. Norma dedicated her life to her husband, children and grandchildren. Her love, wisdom, and cooking were the hub of the family. She was an avid reader. She was a member of Central Christian Church for over 60 years. She is preceded in death by her adored grandchildren Gregory Anglin and John Christian Stephens.
Norma is survived by her husband, Murray, her daughters Kathleen Anglin, Donna Becker, Nancy and her husband, Nick Varelas, and her son John Harvey and his wife Rhonda Stephens. She is the beloved "Meme" to 8 grandchildren: Tim and his wife Beth Anglin, Erin Anglin; Samuel Becker, Shana Becker and her husband Thomas Allen; Matt, Mark and Lindsay Varelas; and Tyson Wright.
