Norma graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill and worked in sales and marketing for several radio stations nationwide. She served as a board member for the Rape Crisis Center and the Texas Lung Association.
She is survived by her partner, Heather Walleck; her parents, Alejandro and Linda Trigo; sisters, Estella Saldana and husband, Abel; Delia Pena and husband, Mario; Lidia Tijerina and husband, Marcos; and Linda Valderaz and husband, Mano; brothers, Daniel Trigo and wife, Melissa; and Alejandro Trigo, Jr.; nieces and nephews, Crystal and Clarissa Tijerina; Jeremy, Jacob and John Pena, Brian, Bethany Saldana and Matthew Trigo; one godchild, Matilda Rowe-Bond.
She leaves behind many friends who will miss her dearly.
