He resided at the Forum at Lincoln Heights since 2000. Scho enlisted in the Army in 1942 and retired at the rank of Colonel from the Air Force in 1968.
His wartime commendations include two Purple Hearts and two Bronze Stars, one with a designation of valor under fire, and two Legions of Merit.
He was a volunteer at the Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio from 1968 to 2004 at the age of 94, and was awarded the Commanders Medal for Meritorious Service.
Jeanette H. Chambers and Margaret Gray Thomas preceded him in death.
Scho is survived by the families of William A. Chambers of AL., George Killian of MD., and Gaile Kloss Wood of CT.
