I was so saddened to hear of Bruce's passing. I considered him a friend who always brightened my day whenever I saw him. He was always so kind to me, stopping to ask how I was and how work was going. I will miss him dearly.

I have known Bruce for many years. He always had a smile on his face.We had great conversations together about law. 
Bruce was a gentlemen and scholar.

I have very fond childhood memories of Bruce Jr. Bubba visiting in Ft. Stockton and Daddy and us kids being invited over to Auntie's house for supper. We would sit in the shade of her back yard with Nojie and Marvin and visit while she and Uncle Bruce would grill their delicious hamburgers. Usually this delicious meal was followed by her extraodinarily good peach ice cream. 
Those were such wonderful days!!!

Bruce was a dear friend. He was always caring and funny, with a smile that would always bring a smile in return. He was wise, generous with knowledge and ideas. He will be greatly missed and the sky will be a brighter lit by his spirit. We were all made better by knowing him.

Mr Hinsey was a wonderful man to care for, the few weeks I knew him. I enjoyed listening to him talked about his military experience and law. I will miss him dearly. To his family and Hattie Lee my prayers are with you during this difficult time. He is in a better place in heaven. trust in the Lord and he will see you through this time of loss, God bless you all. Dear Hinsey Family: Please accept my deepest sympathies on the loss of your beloved. There are never any right words to express how deeply sad I am for the pain your family is enduring at this difficult time. Although I did not have the honor and pleasure of knowing him, as Chair of the Senate Committee on Veteran Affairs and Military Installations, I am sincerely thankful for his valiant service in defense of our rights and freedom. His commitment to family, friends, our community, and to serving our great nation leaves a wonderful legacy. May the love and the wonderful memories you shared with him help you when you need it most. He will never be forgotten, and your family will be remembered in my prayers.

Dear Marie and Sherry, 
I have SUCH fond memories of your Dad. In fact I just saw him recently at my Mom's 90th birthday and when Uncle Earl Tracy was in the hospital. I've been lucky enough to share lots of Thanksgiving and Christmas dinners with him in the last few years when we all got together. He was always so bubbly, fun and just a super person to be around. I could always easily have a conversation with him. He always had a smile on his face and I will really miss seeing him. What a great Dad you had! I feel blessed to have known him. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

A fellow Rotarian, Bruce was an outstanding leader and member of the Alamo Heights Rotary family and will be missed. God speed Bruce.
