

Norvin B. Friesenhahn was called home to be with God at the age of 75 on Monday February 2, 2015. He was born as a twin with Norbert in New Braunfels, Texas on March 21, 1939. He was a devoted Hubby to his Wify of over 48 years and role model Father-Grandfather to his family. He also was a care taker to his sister, Kathy. He started working at his father's business in downtown San Antonio at a motor repair shop and was hired on at GE factory appliance service until he was drafted in the Army in the early 1960's and served 2 years in the Arctic at Thule, Greenland. Upon his return, he began his job at Kleck Mechanical as an Air Conditioning mechanic until he started his own company, Friesenhahn Heating & Air Conditioning, for 25 years which he passed on for a second generation to his son. He was an apprentice at Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local Union 142 and served as an instructor there for 18 years. He served as Usher and Eucharistic Minister at St Pius X Catholic Church. He enjoyed boating, water skiing, fishing, and deer hunting and made the best deer sausage. He also enjoyed spending time riding his motorcycle at the country property. He was always known as 'Mr. Fix-It' because he could fix anything that was broke.
