

Octaviano Lozano, age 95, was called up to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 17, 2024 in San Antonio, Texas.
He was born in Doctor González, Nuevo León, Mexico in 1929 to Florencio and Petra Lozano. He was one of eight children.
He was a devoted and loving husband, father, brother, grandfather, great grandfather, and friend. A man of deep faith and immense generosity, who loved the Lord with all of his heart. His home was always open to those in need, offering a warm meal or shelter, embodying the true spirit of kindness and hospitality. He was a man who found joy in life’s simple pleasures, appreciating the quiet moments. He loved music and played the guitar, accordion, and harmonica. He also loved to serenade his wife of 68 years, filling their home with music and affection that reflected the deep love they shared throughout their lives. He enjoyed spending his time outdoors, working on cars and tackling household projects, always finding satisfaction in hands-on work and getting things done.
Octaviano was preceded in death by his parents, three of his brothers, and two of his sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Sabina; his children and their spouses - Maria Elena (Randy) Price, Rosa Maria (Norbert) Hernandez, Maria del Carmen (Humberto) Garcia, Susana (Nicolas) Saucedo; his siblings – Lorenzo Lozano and Berta Castillo Lozano; and his seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be on September 22, 2024 at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Family will visit from 4:00 pm-5:00 pm, followed by public visitation from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm, and concluding with the Funeral Service from 6:00 pm-7:00 pm.
A graveside service to honor and celebrate his life will be held at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home on September 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM.
A luncheon will follow the service, where family and friends are invited to gather, share memories, and celebrate his life at First Mexican Baptist Church.
