Olivia Muriel, 95, of San Antonio, TX, passed away on Tuesday, May 2, 2023. Olivia was born on December 24, 1927, and lived her entire life in San Antonio, where she met and married her husband of more than six decades and raised two daughters. She loved spending time with her family, traveling around the world—with a particular fondness for Las Vegas—and was renowned for her cooking, especially her banana breads and Thanksgiving turkeys. Olivia was a devoted and loving grandmother, who never missed a school event, birthday, or opportunity to spend time with her grandson. Olivia is preceded in death by her husband and is survived by her two daughters, son-in-law, her grandson, and his wife, and two great grandchildren. A Rosary will be said for Olivia on Sunday, May 21st at 7 pm at Porter Loring Mortuary North, with a funeral mass the next morning at 10 am at St. Matthew’s Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
