Oscar Carter Cook

Oscar Carter Cook, born on January 2, 1927 in Eagle Pass, TX was called to be with The Lord on July 14, 2020 at the age of 93. Mr. Cook served in the United States Marine Corp during the Korean Conflict and the United States Navy during WW II. Mr. Cook also worked faithfully with the VIA Metropolitan Transit for 35 years.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Mary Magdalen Cook; brother, Richard Cook; sister, Belen Acosta. He is survived by his children, Oscar Anthony Cook (Maria), Richard Cook (Linda) and Douglas Cook (Monika); grandchildren, Lauren Breaux, Nicholas Cook, Jessica Kress and Eric Martinez; great grandchildren, Cyrus Breaux, Devin and Maya Kress, Richard Martinez.

The Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, July 30, 2020 at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples. Rd. The Funeral Service will be conducted on Friday July 31, 2020 at 11:15 a.m. in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.

Due to COVID, our chapel is limited to a capacity of 25 people and a mask will be required at all times within the building. We thank you for you cooperation and understanding.
