Dr. Pat R. Thomason, Ph.D., 77, passed away on Saturday, August 25, 2012, in San Antonio. She was born on May 18, 1935, in Neodesha, KS to Donald and Lillian Thomason. Pat was a retired professor of anatomy, having taught at several universities. A member of Bexar County Stonewall Democrats, she was also a member of the Humane Society and many other organizations relating to animals. She was an avid supporter of equal rights for all people. Pat was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Phyllis Lozano. Survivors include her life partner, Daisy E. Cavallaro; a son, Carl P. Cavallaro and wife Nicole; a grandson, Carlo A. Cavallaro; her mother, Lillian Biddle; 2 sisters, Nancy Jo Wisdom, and Toni Lynn Faulkner and husband Michael; an uncle, Kenneth Ganther and wife Dorothy; and many extended family members and friends. She loved life, her family and friends. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
