Patricia Suzanne Hernandez passed peacefully into her next life Wednesday July 9, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. She was a fighter and survivor of complications of Leukemia. In spite of her struggles, Patty was happy and lived life out loud. She was a member of the Alamo Scooter Club. She was preceded in death by her grandfather, George Marshall Jones. Patty is survived by her beloved husband and best friend, Adam Michael Hernandez; daughters, Krystal Jade Rios of San Antonio, Alicia Stragmalia of Trenton, NJ; mother, Patricia Gonzalez of San Antonio; grandmother, Virginia Jones of Del Rio, TX; mother-in-law, Gloria E. Hernandez; father-in-law, Oscar G. Hernandez and wife Laura Thompson; brothers-in-law, Adrian A. Hernandez and wife Diane, Andr Hernandez and wife Laura, beloved niece and nephew, Sophia and Ethan, all of San Antonio; as well as the entire Morales and Hernandez families and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Her family wishes to express their gratitude for the exceptional and devoted care given by Dr. Paul Shaughnessy, Dr. Larry Davis, Dr. Brad Gurwitz and the Oncology unit at Methodist Hospital.
