Patricia Anne Leonard

Patricia Anne Leonard, 81 of San Antonio, Texas passed away due to complications from pneumonia on Sunday September 11th, 2016. Patricia was born in Tyler, Texas on September 20, 1934 and adopted by L.O. and Zula McMillan. Raised in Dallas, she attended high school at Hockaday in Dallas.. She continued her education at Southern Methodist University in Dallas and University of Texas in Austin.

On August 20, 1955 Patricia married Timothy T Leonard in Dallas, Texas. They resided briefly in Dallas before moving to Roswell, New Mexico. They had 5 children. In 1958, they moved to Leonard Angus Cattle Ranch just outside of Eagle Pass, Texas. In 1965, they moved to San Antonio, Texas where she resided for 50+ years.

Patricia greatly enjoyed hunting and fishing with her children. Throughout her life she had an intense enthusiasm for horse racing and her horses provided many trips to the winner’s circle. She had a passion for cooking that she passed down to her children which led to many hours in the kitchen and eventually the creation of her own cookbook that included all the recipes of dishes she favored.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son Shannon and wife Jane of Dripping Springs; son Kevin and wife JoLynn of Midland; son Kyle and wife Nelly of Eagle Pass; son Patrick of San Antonio; daughter Molly Azopardi and husband Tommy of Wimberley; and four grandchildren.

The family will be having a private graveside service.
