Patricia Byrd Mitchell

Patricia Byrd Mitchell, age 67, unexpectedly passed away on Tuesday, January 17, 2023 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born on March 10, 1955, in Cleveland, Ohio to Frances and Captain Hugh Byrd. Being in a military family, she lived in many places all throughout the country during her younger years, including highly cherished high school years in Hawaii, but she always had a special connection to the East Coast.

Patricia devoted much of her life to her career in social work and formed many successful relationships that left a lasting impact on everyone she worked with. She made it her mission to enrich and improve the lives of others. She was also a devoted mother and had an incredible love for her son, Conor. Her friends and family meant the world to her, and she will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents. Patricia is survived by her son, Conor Mitchell; siblings, William Byrd, Ginger Bondeson, and Mary Brice. She also leaves behind numerous beloved colleagues.
