Patricia Olivares

Patricia Olivares, 55, of San Antonio, TX, passed away peacefully from this life the afternoon of September 18, 2023. She was surrounded by her family. Patricia was born in San Antonio, TX, on August 05, 1968, to parents Lucy Pantoja and Max Olivares. She is survived by her two sons, Gabriel, and Andrew, who loved her wholeheartedly; her sisters Diana, Maggie, Liz, Susie, Josie, and Marina; and her lifetime partner, Andrew Olivares. She is preceded by her brother Pete, and father Max.

Patricia was always known as a person who loved celebrating special occasions, family, and holidays. Patricia started her career as a certified nursing assistant at Baptist Memorial Hospital, San Antonio. She also worked at Ella Austin Community Center for over 20 years as a switchboard operator, receptionist, and volunteer. She considered the many years devoted there as one of her greatest achievements.

Now Pat is in Heaven, like a bright star shining on us to keep at it. Pat would say keep going, keep celebrating life, there will always be challenges, still keep at it, and celebrate all of life's wonderful and special occasions.

A visitation for Patricia will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home, 6321 Bandera Road, San Antonio, TX 78238, followed by a prayer service from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
