Patrick Michael "Pat" Urban

Patrick Michael Urban born August 24, 1948 in Taylor, PA, died on August 3, 2010 in San Antonio, TX. He was preceded in death by his parents Paul and Genevieve Lasky Urban and sister, Kathleen Resavy. He is survived by his wife Sandra Urban, mother-in-law, Sissie Wenzel; brother, Paul Urban and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. He served in the US Army with the 101st Airborne in Vietnam and was discharged on April 24, 1970. He retired from the Metropolitan Police Washington DC after 23 years of service. After retirement he continued to perform accident reconstruction investigations for various organizations. He loved the game of football and became a football official serving in Northern Virginia and San Antonio for over 20 years. The visitation will be held on Thursday, August 5, 2010 from 6:00 – 9:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at Sunset North Funeral Home, 910 North Loop 1604 East. The Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, August 6, 2010 at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 20423 Huebner Rd. The graveside service and interment will be held on Monday, August 9, 2010 at 10:45 A.M. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery.
