Patti and I were in elementary school all eight years together. For first grade we were at St. Paul’s and second through eighth grades we were at St. Luke’s. In one grade, our teacher seated us right next to each other. When our name was called to give an answer, we both responded. It wasn’t long before our teacher separated us. 
I’m sorry Patti is gone. I know you’ll miss her but she’ll always be in your hearts, warm and safe. Please take comfort in that.

Patti was a mentor to many people who wanted to become an umpire and was willing to help with rules and learning how to establish fundamentals.    She was a great friend and had time for others.    She will be greatly missed and joining other umpires in heaven to do games.

Patti was a great mentor to Phil (Salazar) when he joined the umpire community in San Antonio.  I remember Phil calling Patti almost every week to discuss a play or a rule change.  She was very generous with her time and talents.  At Phil's memorial service, it was noted that God must have needed a top notch umpire and friend....heaven is getting another friend and outstanding umpire....say hello to Phil for me.

Condolences to Patti's family whom she loved deeply and bragged about all the time, she was so proud of all her siblings, and nieces and nephews. 
I worked with Patti over the last 11 years and it has been such a true honor. She loved to tell me her family stories, there are many! Stories of her umpire days and the travel that came with it. It made me feel part of the family. My kids and I would call her "Aunt Patti" she insisted upon it.
She had such a kind heart, always checked on me and my family, especially during covid. She would invite us over, even gave my daughter her bike when she wanted to learn how to ride one. 
Patti tried to teach me everything she could when it came to work, because that was the kind hearted person she was.
When she was in the hospital my kids and I would go see her. She would still call me to reassure me she was doing ok and to not worry. She hated the hospital, but loved the nurses. Mostly she missed Benji, her dog.
Patti will truly be missed, her jokes, her stories, her love for the Cowboys, steak from Salt Grass, but most of all just her presence and kindness.
God gained a true angel! Rest Peacefully Patti! <3

My Deepest condolences to Patty's family, friends and Brotherhood of Umpire. I was Honored to have Umpired games with Patty at USAA GOD'S BLESSINGS MY FRIEND.

Patti was a wonderful umpire but an even better person and friend. I met Patti in 1996 when we worked the ASA Women’s Major National Tournament in Pekin, Illinois. After that I invited her to umpire in the Rebel Spring Games in the Orlando area. We became good friends and I learned to appreciate her caring and giving personality. My condolences go out to her family and friends. She will be missed by many all over the country. Patti’s legacy is set in stone.
