With very heavy hearts we announce the unexpected death of Paul "Casey" Oberholtzer, 38, on March 1, 2019. Born to Paul and Jackie in San Antonio, TX. Casey resided in Boerne where he, his wife Callie, and son Tyler lived in the home of their dreams.
It's impossible to narrate one's life in a predetermined obituary template and Casey's life was no exception. The hole left behind in our hearts is vast and undefined, yet the memory of Casey's infectious laugh somehow fills the void and brings comfort. His eyes lit up when he smiled. Casey was everyone's brother. Nights out with Casey were littered with shenanigans and frequently ended in late night trips to Taco Cabana. He was determined, proud, and hard headed. After learning many of life's lessons the hard way, he eventually settled down and worked hard for the life he was building. Casey had an entrepreneurial dream that started with a vision and a loan from his parents. That dream turned into Top Notch Truck & Trailer. TNT grew from a small storefront with a single bay garage into a multi-location successful business with a dominant presence in New Braunfels, TX. The giant inflatable truck can be seen for miles. In his off time, Casey loved to visit the ranch. He took pride in curating the land that had been in the family for three generations.
Casey leaves behind his wife, Callie; son, Tyler: mother, Jackie Oberholtzer; sister, Amanda Mendler; brother, Jesse Oberholtzer; grandfather, Robert Hardy and countless extended family and friends. Casey was preceded in death by his daughter Madalynn Oberholtzer; father, Paul Nelson Oberholtzer, and several other family members who met him at the gates.
