He was born on June 30, 1924, in Youngstown, Ohio to John and Cecelia Sheridan. He served in the Tank Corp in the U.S. Army during WWII. He lived in different parts of the country.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, John Edward Sheridan and Neil Sheridan.
He is survived by his wife, Marion Sheridan; children, Norma Sheridan Leos and husband David, Paul H. Sheridan, Mary Barry and husband Lee, Martha Sheridan Taylor and husband James; two grandchildren, Nichole Barry and Sheridan Taylor; and great-grandchild, Alexis Mitchell.
