Pauline H. Bowman

Pauline H. Bowman, age 82, died peacefully on Wednesday June 22, 2016 in San Antonio, Texas. She was born Pauline Amelia Barclay Hernandez on November 28, 1933 in San Antonio, Texas to Amelia Barclay and Fred Hernandez. She attended The San Antonio Vocational and Technical School graduating as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in 1953. Pauline spent over 30 years working as a nurse for the Baptist and Santa Rosa Hospitals. On August 3, 1957 she married James Bowman and celebrated over 58 years of marriage. Together they have three children, six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Living life, she gave so much and asked for so little in return. She was preceded in death by grandmother, Antonio Barclay; uncle, David Barkley; parents. Amelia and Fred Hernandez; and son, James L. Bowman II. Pauline is survived by her husband, James Bowman; daughter and husband, Debra and Briant Harkiewicz, TX.; daughter and husband, Brenda and Scott Neese, GA.; Grandsons and spouses, Joseph and Jennifer Casanova, TX.; Adrian and Kelly Casanova, IN.; John and Lily Bowman, TX.; Robert Perez, TX; and Tristan Perez, TX.; Granddaughter, Janelle Perez, TX.; Great grandchildren, Avery, Alison, Ruben, Thalia, Ashley, Jade, Jaden and Noah; brothers, David Hernandez, CA.; Roland Hernandez, CA.; Ruben Hernandez and spouse Helen, TX.: The family will receive friends before and after the rosary and during the reception following the Mass.
