

She was born April 26, 1927 in Adair County, Iowa to Forrest and Elinor Proctor who preceded her in death. She was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Roland Hartsook. They made their home on a farm in Adair County, Iowa where their children were born. They moved to San Antonio, TX in 1952 where they lived for 45 happy years. Pauline has lived in Haltom City, TX for 13 years to be close to her daughter and family.
She was employed in San Antonio by Piggly Wiggly for 9 years and then by San Antonio Savings Association where she retired in 1987 as Assistant Vice President-Branch Manager. She leaves many friendships of fellow employees and customers. She was a graduate of the Savings and Loan Institute and San Antonio College. She was a very active member of Alliance United Methodist Church as a member of the Classic Sunday school class & the Silver Alliance seniors. She was on several committees and did volunteer work. She leaves many friends in her church family.
Survivors are her daughter and husband Vicki & Roger Kunz of Watauga, Texas. son and wife Randall & Susan Hartsook of Austin, Texas, granddaughter & husband Tiffany & John Phillips, Grandson & wife Eric & Kristi Kunz, grandson & wife James & Lauren Hartsook and grandson Ryan Hartsook, 4 great grandchildren, Brendon, Kassidi & Bree Kunz and Sarah Phillips. They were the great joy of her life. A brother & wife Parnell & Joyce Proctor of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, brother & sisters-in-law Wayne & Joann Hartsook, Harriett Hartsook, Phyllis & Max Parrott, many nieces and nephews. From her grandson Eric, who lover her dearly "She was a short and spunky little gal, what she lacked in height she made up in heart".
Pallbearers will be her grandsons Eric & Brendon Kunz (great grandson), Ryan Hartsook,
James Hartsook and John Phillips and long time friend Rickey Clare.
Services will be at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, Aug 19th @ 9:00 AM & a Memorial Service & Celebration of her life at Alliance United Methodist Church in Ft.Worth, 3:00 PM, Sunday Aug 21 st. Both services will be conducted by dear friend & Pastor Reverend Jim McClurg.
