

Peggy graduated from Alamo Heights High School where she was a cheerleader and was voted Prom Queen. She graduated with an education degree from Trinity University. Peggy Diane really enjoyed spending time in the great outdoors. She loved her summers at Lake LBJ, hunting deer on her ranch in South Texas and her beach time during vacations to Port Aransas. She had so much fun socializing and bowling with her girlfriends. While attending Cornerstone Church, she was voted "Volunteer of the Year".
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank T. "Bubba" Bowman and her brother, Joe Pinson. Peggy is survived by her daughter, Shellie Liles of Spring, Texas; sons, Turner Bowman and wife, GiGi, Chuck Bowman and wife, Lynda and Tracy Bowman and wife, Patty all of San Antonio; grandchildren, Layne Liles and Logan Liles of Spring, Texas, Foster Bowman, Brennan Bowman, Cara Bowman, Bridgette Bowman, Kayla Bowman Dillon, Kadie Bowman, Brittany Bowman, Brooke Bowman and Nicki Bowman of San Antonio; numerous nieces and nephews; brother, Col. C.R. "Dick" Pinson and wife, Teddy; great-grandson, Colson Dillon.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, August, 21, 2014, at Porter Loring Mortuary North.

Reverend Boots Levine will officiate. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Layne Liles, Foster Bowman, Randy Shelton, Trey Dinn, Denny Johnson and Paul Aschbacher. Honorary Pallbearer will be Dick Pinson.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
