Peggy L. Garza, age 65, passed away January 8, 2011. She was born on January 9, 1945 in Greer, South Carolina to Johnson and Essie Crisson. She is survived by her husband, James L.R. Garza, daughters, Robin R. Escamilla and husband Rick, Lisa L. Carter and husband Joe; grandchildren, Megan Cordero and husband Nathan, Wesley Escamilla, MIDN 4/C B. Luke Linsten, Levi A. Linsten, Anthony Carter and Michael Carter; great-grandsons, Ethan Cordero and Isaiah Cordero; sister, Polly Jones, brother, Austin Crisson, numerous nieces and nephews and many friends. Visitation will be at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home on Bandera Road on Wednesday, January12, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. to 8:30 P.M. A funeral service will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Sunset Northwest Funeral Home with Rev. Tom Crick, Rev. Samuel Molina and Rev. John VanPay officiating. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Peggy may be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
