'Our family is blessed to have had the privilege of knowing Peggy. With her ready smile and her caring ways, she adopted our family in much the same way as she adopted the kittens and puppies she found. She was immediate support on the loss of our daughter, Lori, whispering in my ear that I was living every parents nightmare...and letting me know she was there. Her support didn't stop there, she brought us into her own family holiday celebrations that first year to make the holidays different for us, so the hole our daughter left would not feel quite so large. She was a good friend and she will be missed.'
