

She was preceded in death by parents, Charles A. and Molly Hilbun, and sister, Patsy Folds.
She is survived by her loving husband, Bill Hartman; son, Richard Scott Hartman and wife, Terri; daughter, Lori Hartman Barrera and husband, Aaron; grandchildren, Nick, Benjamin, Karly, and C.J.; siblings, Maxine and Noel Roberts, Buddy Hilbun, Jack and Joyce Hilbun, and Shirley Jean Hilbun; mother-in-law, Mildred Hartman; a large extended family and numerous friends.
Peggy will be remembered for her giving spirit, and overwhelming love for animals, especially her horses, dogs, and cats. Her passion for horses and competitive nature lead her to the show ring where she received various awards and recognitions.
She was a member of the American Paint Horse Association, South Texas Pinto Club, and Mesquite Trail Drivers.
Peggy, with her creative flare, could take a simple object and turn it into a work of art. Her ever encouraging words and colorful expressions will be missed by all.
Peggy walked closely with the Lord and is in his presence.
