PFC Joshua Cortez

PFC Joshua Cortez, Age 21 passed away on Saturday, November 6, 2021 in San Antonio, Texas. He was born to Virginia Ybarra Cortez and Ricardo C. Cortez, on November 28, 1999. Joshua is proceeded in death by his grandfather Frank Cortez and is survived by his six siblings: Ricardo (Rick) Cortez Jr. Spouse (Christina), Carol Solis (Salvador), Joseph Deans, Ronnie Menchaca, Genevieve Cortez (Willie) Rose Deans and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many loving friends.

Joshua was a graduate of Roosevelt High School where he played football. After graduating high school, Joshua enlisted in the United States Army National Guard. When not serving Joshua enjoyed working in the industry which gave him the most pleasure working on cars as an auto mechanic. Joshua was a great Uncle to his 13 nieces and nephews who miss him dearly.
