'Angie-Bruce, I am sorry for your loss. Phil had a great relationship with my mother Adelia, and really helped our family after my dad died. He will be missed. My families prayers are with you.'

'In high school, he was the man that yelled at us to get off the grass on a daily basis. Once he yelled at me to quit kissing a boy on the corner. lol A couple of years later after I found my soul sister, Angie, I discovered his bark was worse than his bite. He was the kind man that always treated my young son like his own. He always had some little candy or toy to give JohnPhillip whenever we stopped by. Years later, after overhearing a conversation I had with Angie, he made me several tapes of classical music to play in Micael's room to sooth him to sleep at night as a baby. They were a life saver! He was always so kind to us all. I loved to just sit at his kitchen table and talk to him. It was never a boring conversation. lol He will be missed by many of us "neighborhood" kids. I'm am glad he is now with God and the love of his life and pain free. Sending Angie and Bruce prayers of comfort. Love you much Angie!!!'

'My history with Phil Loe began as ominous cautions to me from his beautiful daughter Angela. We had started dating and I had found my soulmate! Just one little hitch . . . Dad might have a problem with me because of my, let's call it, 'compact size'. Her reluctance towards me meeting her parents had me worried! When I finally got to meet 'Dad', I was more panicked than the first wonderful night I had spent with Angela. Looking back, I think Angela was testing my sincerity toward her, because as it turned out, it was all a big scare. Dad and I hit it off immediately. I didn't realize it, but i had a an ace up my sleeve, I too was a proud Air Force veteran. He took me and my son Nick in just as if we had always been family. And family was everything to Dad. Since then, not a day has passed that Dad hasn't brightened our lives. Even know, as I recount my time with him, I am filled with the strength that comes from strong family ties. Family ties built by a wonderful man, a patriotic veteran, an amazing patriarch and loving father. Thank you Dad, for including me, for giving me Angela, for all your love. Rest in peace!!!'

'My grandpa was one of my favorite people on this earth. I grew up without my family so it made my relationship with him all the more precious. I miss him more than I can say but I am glad he's no longer hurting and he's with my grandma who he loved more than anything. Love you grandpa! I know you will keep an eye on all of us from up there and watch over us always. Hug and kiss grandma for me.'
