MSGT Philip J. Germain, Jr. (U.S. Air Force, ret.) went to be with the Lord on February 24, 2013. He was born on February 14, 1943 in Worcester, MA to Philip J. Germain, Sr. & Edith Louise Mathieu. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend who will be dearly missed. He retired after 26 years of service from the U.S. Air Force as a Materials Manager. He later worked 18 years at SW General Hospital as Director of Materials Management.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Greg Germain Groleau.
He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Carol Lee Germain; 2 children, Philip J Germain III & wife Pam and Linda Germain; 3 grandchildren, Jessica Germain, Taylor Germain and Austin Germain; 4 siblings, Russell Germain, Paul Germain, Wayne Matthew Germain and Gail Ketchum.
Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Thursday, March 7, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be 12 noon, Friday, March 8, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery with Full Military Honors.
