

Phyllis Earline Noles was born on March 21, 1939 in San Antonio, TX. She went to rest on January 17, 2025 at the age of 85. She attended Incarnate Word College where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. Phyllis lived in several cities in Texas including San Antonio, Austin, Fort Worth, Arlington, and Dallas. In Tennessee, she lived in Nashville, Memphis, and Jackson, and in New Orleans, LA. She also lived in Portugal. While in Portugal, she and her husband traveled extensively throughout Europe. She also enjoyed traveling much of the United States, Mexico, and South America. Napa Valley was her favorite vacation destination in the United States and Paris was her favorite in Europe. She had a varied business career in radio, television, newspaper, and in the advertising industry. She was president of Phyllis Moore & Associates Advertising Agency, and was the General Manager of WEZI-FM in Memphis. While living in Memphis, she was president of the Memphis Chapter of the American Women in Radio and Television, an officer for the Memphis Advertising Federation, Board Chair for the Memphis Chapter of the Lupus Foundation, and worked on a major project for St. Jude Children’s Hospital. She was also an officer in the San Antonio Chapter of AWRT and was the Media Director for Glenn Advertising. She worked in television at KENS-TV in San Antonio, KTXA-TV in Dallas, and as the manager at WUPL-TV in New Orleans where she retired from Viacom/CBS in 2000.
Phyllis loved cats-among them were Simba, Cuddle, and Sachi I, II, III, IV, and V. As one passed into the Heavens, she would search for her next companion kitten. She loved and pampered each of them and they were her constant companion.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. Her parents, sister, son Charles Lee Migura, and husband of 38 years, SMS Robert Dale Moore, USAF (Ret.) of Huntingdon, TN preceded her in death.
She is survived by her devoted husband CSM Willie C. Noles, USA (Ret.), son Michael Allen Migura (Celeste), stepsons Michael D. Moore (Deborah), David W. Moore, Kevin Michael Noles (Cherie), stepdaughter Debbie Noles Neely (Mike), and daughter-in-law Bobbie Kay Migura, brothers-in-law JW Noles (Ann), Emitt Moore (Phyllis), sisters-in-law Dorothy Moore Scott, Ann Moore Butler (Edward), Barbara Moore Clifton, Shirley Moore Dennison, and Jennie Moore Barnett (Steve), granddaughters Sabrena Migura Maspero (Steve), Kristen Torres, Merrily Neely (Don), Tara Neely, and Rachael Castilleja, and grandsons Christopher Migura, Dana Moore, Brandon Neely (Anita), Robert Torres, and Jackson Noles, and great-grandsons, Jimmy, Dawson, and Logan Burbank, Gabriel (Tripp) and Kade Hernandez and great-granddaughters, Gabriella (Gabby) and Graciella (Gracie) Maspero, Riley and Reese Neely, Raquel Burbank, Jasmine Tomnbay, Aubrey Torres, and dearly loved cousin, Doralyn Drew (Ralph).
Phyllis grew up a member of Central Christian Church on Main Avenue and was a member of the Fort Sam Houston Main Post Chapel and Lay Reader for the 11:00 AM Protestant congregation.
Visitation will be at Sunset Memorial Park & Funeral Home (1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio TX) on 02/10/2025 from 10:30 through 12:30 with services immediately following. Burial to follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
