Phyllis Barnes Rosberg died in San Antonio, Texas on Saturday, October 04, 2008 after a lengthy illness. Phyllis was born in San Antonio on July 17, 1923 to John Burton and Gertrude Hale Barnes. She was active in the Girl Scouts and a long time supporter of the Republican Party. With her husband Robert she founded a jewelry business, Diamondflair Corp., dba, Diamontrigue, in 1971, and she remained closely involved in the business until the time of her death. She was a long time member of Northwood Presbyterian Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Robert.
She is survived by her two daughters, Carolyn Rosberg Doody and husband Kevin, and Janet Rosberg Emack and husband Bob; two granddaughters, Shannon Doody Darnell and husband, Brian, and Kelly Emack; one grandson, Paul Emack; three great-grandchildren, Cole, Lyla, and Carly Darnell; one brother, Burton Barnes; and her devoted, longtime companion and caregiver, Annias Carter.
The funeral will be private and the family asks that any memorial be given to the charity of your choice.
