Don't grieve for me, for now I'm free to follow the path God made for me. I took His hand when I heard Him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day, to love, to laugh, to work or play. Tasks left undone must stay that way, for I found peace at last, that day. If my parting has left a void, then fill it with remembering joy. A friendship shared, a laugh, a kiss, oh yes, these thing I too will miss. Be not burdened with hearts of sorrow. My wish for you is the hope of tomorrow. My life's been full, I've savored much, good friends, good times, a loved one's touch. Perhaps my time seemed much too brief, don't lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your heart and share with me, God want's me now--- He's set me free.

Rachel G Palacio,born on January 20, 1934 in Corpus Christi, TX was called to be with The Lord on August 23, 2021 at the age of 87 years. She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Ignacio F. Palacio; sons, Jimmy G. Palacio Sr. (Hilda), Ignacio G. Palacio Jr., Miguel G. Palacio (Santa) and Manuel G. Palacio (Lori); daughters, Rosalinda Palacio and Hermelinda Zamarron (Moses); sisters, Beatrice Berlanga, Angelita Berlanga, Aurora Garcia and Mary Lou Riojas; also, 19 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren.

The Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 15, 2021 from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Funeraria Del Angel Trevino, 226 Cupples Road, San Antonio, TX 78237 followed by a Rosary at 7:00 p.m.

The Procession will depart on Thursday, September 16, 2021 at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. Mass of The Resurrection at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 314 Merida, San Antonio, TX 78207.

Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery II.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions, only 100 guests will be allowed in the funeral home chapel. The Palacio Family is requesting guests to wear masks for the safety of everyone and to use social distancing as a precaution.

San Fernando Cemetery II will only allow 10 guests under the tent site. Everyone else will need to social

distance outside the tent. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.
