

Dr. Ralph Marvin Hausman, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, November 14th in San Antonio. He was born on November 1, 1940 in Lawrenceburg, Indiana, to Dorothy Ann Jackson Cotton and Cecil Cotton. He attended Texas A&M, University of Texas Austin (Bachelors Degree), University of Hawaii, Manoa campus (Masters Degree), and George Peabody College (PH.D). He was the Adviser Emeritus for the Texas Educational Diagnosticians.
Ralph was preceded in death by his son, Kaimilani Ralph Hausman; his parents, Dorothy Ann Hausman, Harold Hausman, and Cecil Cotton. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Barbara Tubb Hausman; son, Kalani Hausman; daughter, Rachel Fawn Sorgi (Grant Sorensen); grandson, Jonathan Cook-Hausman; granddaughter, Cassandra Morgan Cook-Hausman; brothers, Stanley Hausman (Susan), AJ Hausman (Dr. Gia Dice), and Harry Hausman; sister, Holly Floyd (Randell); brother-in-law, James Lowell Tubbs (Cheryl); as well as sixteen nieces and nephews and their children.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, in the Fellowship Hall at Utopia Methodist Church.
